A bachelor settles down with the woman of his dreams after playing the field for 40 years, only to learn the truth about her sexual orientation on the day after their wedding. On the eve of his 40th birthday, Joe was convinced that he'd be single forever. Then at his surprise party, Amanda walked into his life. It was love at first sight, and the beginning of a whirlwind romance. Before long, Joe and Amanda were planning their wedding. When that day finally came, everything was perfect. Then, the following morning, Amanda revealed her deepest secret: she was born a man. Infuriated and confused, Joe announces that he'll be filing for a divorce. But the singles scene just doesn't feel the same for Joe after his time with Amanda; every girl he meets remind him of his one true love. In time Joe realizes that he doesn't care who Amanda used to be; the only thing that matters is who she is to him now. This is a great movie. I'm a romantic comedy lover and this one has a great twist. Loved it and would highly recommend it!

you can obviously guess that Amandas deep dark secret was she was born a man and had a sx change operation. Her new found husband only finds this out after they are married, he then questions his love for her. The movie is well played out with good actors. It shows us how easy it is for us to judge people and limit our hearts and minds to the normal. But at the same time it also teaches us that judging and limiting ourselves to the normal is wrong when it comes to true love. I feel that the ending betrayed the overall message of the movie. I wont spoil as to how it does this, yet, the overall message of the movie still remains the same. 4 stars.. 7/10/10
