A thirtysomething Hollywood socialite (Sarah Chalke) fears becoming an old maid and concocts a plan to snag a famous filmmaker (Philip Winchester) with help from her family and friends. ~ Rhoda Charles, Rovi
Not for the men in your life. So shallow, so made for TV. Pretty people, clothes, homes. Tries to redeam itself with a weak message. I still enjoyed it enough to watch the whole thing (stay with it for part two).
This was a fairly enjoyable comedy (a some what "X" in the City of LA) that seems to end abruptly until you realize there its a part 2. Then it goes on and on. It has the feel of a TV movie, but with professional editing (as it cutting out an hour or more of fluff), might improve.
I think the editor of this movie was missing in action. It went on and on and on. It would have been fairly decent if it had been cut in half. Can't understand the three stars either
I thought it was a "cute" - Chick Flick. Wasn't so sure when I saw the title. A little like "legally blond" meets "x and the city". Lots of pretty people, clothes, fun friends, and not too serious.
