Excellent movie. Someone told me this movie sucked and was chessey, but I really enjoyed it. Lots and lots of action. Yes it stole alittle from Independence Day and Star Trek: First Contact, but was still good.

If you're current or ex Navy, you'll enjoy this. Lots of special effects, action and salt water. A little corny at times but that seems to be standard fare in this type of movie. Really great via Blu-ray and a home theater.

This is the worst movie I've seen for some time. Terrible, soap opera casting and acting...cliche misunderstood bad-boy story...completely unbelievable scenarios (and I totally enjoyed District 9). Just a bad movie and it deserved to bomb at the BO.

    This movie was actually really entertaining - I expected nothing but found the action/effects really good. Performances were par for the course in an action flick, but I really appreciated the Missouri vets being worked into the plot. Worth watching!

    This move had no super stars other than Lam Nleison. The movie seemed to use real people, real wounded warriors, real ex-vets, which in my opinion made it great. It was corney, it was fun, it was red, white and blue the whole way. Academy Awards never, but my family and i had great fun watching this movie.
