This movie was actually really entertaining - I expected nothing but found the action/effects really good. Performances were par for the course in an action flick, but I really appreciated the Missouri vets being worked into the plot. Worth watching! Was this review helpful? Yes

This move had no super stars other than Lam Nleison. The movie seemed to use real people, real wounded warriors, real ex-vets, which in my opinion made it great. It was corney, it was fun, it was red, white and blue the whole way. Academy Awards never, but my family and i had great fun watching this movie. Was this review helpful? Yes

Of course it didn't rock the boxoffice or nor will become nominated for an oscar, but mostly everyone on the net is fussing because it didn't have much of a plot. This movie was still fun to watch and who cares if it didn't have much of a plot, its a big syfy/alienvasion/action summer movie. I had fun watching this movie we I saw it in the cinema's and thought that my money was spent well. It had ridiculously superb special effects and some cheesy dialogue, but with that said this movie still boosted some great action and alien war. It deserves a chance to be seen and should be. I was ready for a bad movie and I was not disappointed. It was boring, had a silly plot, chars I did not like. Also really had a weak connection to the board game.

I couldn't get very far into this movie. I'm sure the action sequences must of been very good, but I couldn't suspend my disbelief enoough to accept the premise that aliens could exceed Einstein's equations to get here. Also, the "hero" is a drunk with $65 to his name who suddenly is commissioned a lieutenant in the Navy? Was this review helpful? Yes
