Mixed martial arts fighter Gina Carano makes her feature-film debut as a lethal government contractor who's betrayed by her own agency in this action thriller from writer Lem Dobbs (The Limey) and director Steven Soderbergh (Traffic, Contagion). Mallory Kane (Carano) is the woman the U.S. government calls on to take care of their dirty work. She's fast, efficient, and -- perhaps most important of all -- clean. But when Mallory makes the mistake of saving a Chinese journalist from certain death, she becomes an enemy to the very same government she once served. Mallory isn't going down without a fight, though, and after a close brush with death, she realizes that the only way to save her own life is to reveal the government's deception. Now, as assassins close in from all sides in an ominous attempt to silence her forever, Mallory sets a trap and races to reveal a massive deception that threatens global stability. Michael Douglas, Michael Fassbender, Ewan McGregor, and Bill Paxton co-star. ~ Jason Buchanan, Rovi

If this is her debut movie I'll give it a B as compared to the other MMA male leading role, the men acted a lot worst. I can't see why so many reviewer are so conflicting, like not enough fighting, or bad fighting choreograph, or they can't follow/understand the plot , and comparing it to Salt which was way over the top and unrealistic in every way, with 100lb female kicking --s, and jumping from auto. to auto. This movie was more realistic, plot, dialog, realistic fight scenes, showing vulnerability (not fighting 12 people at the same time). And people die in real life and the movie spared NO one Channing Tatum's good looks included. 80 music was also good sound track ,something wrong with 50's, 60's, 70's also ? ,they do it all the time ! ,just goes to show ignorant rambling and silly biases. Tony M. one of the few real reviews. This Gina C. is a natural, great voice, and the camera loves her not any bad angles, the best of the MMA crosov, She should stay out of the octagon, and do more

Wow! to give this movie 1 star you have to be ignorant... This was a great movie! The fight scenes were awesome and realistic unlike 90% of other movie's out there. Especially ones with girls fighting that are 100 lbs and couldn't kick a squirls a**. Not to mention Gina is the real deal, A real MMA fighter. Its a solid 3 to 4 star movie. It keeps you interested & Gina is great to look at...

Nothing at all like the trailer presented itself...great cast, but that is where it ends..movie seemed lost at times and parts could have been left out....not even close to the ammount of fighting or action that i was expecting, let alone good action....pass on it if possible and find something else...i think that the mma factor will trick alot of people into watching this, but dont get fooled...

This movie was absolutely terrible from the first 5 seconds. Its really clear that there is zero chemistry from the very beginning. We actually turned it off 10 minutes into it, the acting was so bad. It may have gotten better...(not sure thats possible) but it was pretty wack.

Can you give less than half a star? This movie just starts without explaining the premise of the plot. I got an "Oceans 11" type feel when they started cutting clips of various scenes during the action sequences, except the result just wasn't the same. And as an avid MMA fan, Gina Carrano proved she cannot cut weight for fights or for movie roles.

this movie is absolutely the worst movie in the world. the only reason i watched it was because of Channing Tatum and he ends up dieing! i couldnt believe it! the movie was so boring, there were like no words even said throughout the whole movie. so awful i hated it! its not even worth having channing tatum play a part like that he is way better than that!

gina has electric fight scenes but she can't act. I hope she perfects this because then she'll be an amazing action star. good movie over all but she is tough to watch in moments.
