Blood Ties (2009)
Member Rating:
Twenty years after a serial killer stalked the campus of Hollow's Point University and vanished into thin air, a group of graduate students uncover a malevolent conspiracy that still haunts the school to this very day. The goal was to pen a thesis paper outlining a new theory about the murders; little did the students realize they'd be putting their lives on the line in order to make the grade. With every new shocking clue that the students uncover, another student dies. Every move they make could be their last, because someone is intent on ensuring that this murderous mystery remains unsolved. ~ Jason Buchanan, Rovi

I had no idea what this movie was about. Then you have a lot of running around and screaming, but not sure why.

I have to admit that I actually liked the movie, Blood Ties (2009). This mystery, suspense type of indie horror movie is full of blood, gory, and sexual pornographic type of scenes. I believe that there is a lot of substance in the plot and development of this movie because a lot of dialogue is involved among the characters. The acting performances delivered in this movie were somewhat close to average. The movie might seem slow at times because of the amount of dialogue among the characters within the film that might make the film seem like it is dragging on and on. However, that is the reason why the plot and development is full of substance in this film. I would truly recommend for others to see this mystery/suspense type of indie horror flick at least once and decide for yourself what type of impression this movie gives you as a viewer.

I will not say this was the worst movie that I've ever seen, but it was close. Horrible acting. Horrible story. Horrible effects.

Boring plot, poor acting-kept waiting for it to get better but it never did. Wish I turned it off after the first 20 minutes. Don't waste your time

This movie is not worth anyone's time. It had a $1.95 budget, and the acting was the worst I've seen.

Not bad. I thought a few parts were slow and a bit boring, but overall what do you expect with lower budget indie horror movies?
