A group of Chicago mechanics fight for survival against a killer car that runs on blood, and can take on the appearance of any model in this tale of automotive terror from director Eric Valette (Malefique, One Missed Call). In the wake of a deadly crash, an enigmatic car is towed to a police impound garage. There, head mechanic Tilda (Shannon Beckner) and her crew quickly learn that this is no ordinary automobile. This car is pure evil, and it won't stop killing until everyone in the garage is dead. As Tilda and the other mechanics seek a means of defeating the unstoppable killing machine, it changes forms in a diabolical attempt to catch them off guard. Soon there are only a few mechanics left, and their chances of making it out alive keep shrinking with every click of the odometer. ~ Jason Buchanan, Rovi

Besides their Sh--ty on line rental sevices this is yet another problem they NEED to address, members can NOT read the REVIEWS unless they MAKE a review,as in this case I only wanted to review what the other 9 members had to say!! Sorry!! BB get your Sh-it together . 3.5 months later I finally got this movie about a morphing monster, like the ones in the ocean, not exactly Christine the other possessed car movie, that feeds on humans. Wasn't worth the wait and with baby Superhybrids RUNNING around at the end, I'm not too excited about part 2.

I actually liked this! this is not a haunted car like I read from some other reviews though, rather its actually a creature. A morphing creature that hides in plain sight. I do believe this is a first! What Christine was to possessed cars, and King's Max Overdrive was to Alien induced animation of machines or the embodiment of the devil as a car in 'The Car', Super Hybrid is the first sentient creature that assumes vehicular shape to roam freely about. It does sond corny I know but it does have production value, and is actually pretty well done. you'll be surprised to find out that the whole production was filmed within a former livestock building that was transformed into a police parking garage. very realistic, you'd never know it was otherwise. Take this movie for what it is; sci-fi horror and just be entertained. good tense moments and its fun in general. Its a movie! don't get hung up on reality, just...watch it. I really liked this movie!! Lee P

Video quality was ok, but the movie was just pretty B-grade... based on 2 of the 3 trailers before the movie, well, i wasn't expecting much... it's basically Christine inside the garage, and not much more... and not quite as haunting... Christine is still the movie to beat when it comes to haunted cars... oh, and the cover art, well, there was no car in the movie that looked like that...

This movie was a refreshing breath of fresh air to the possessed car "Genre". Oded Fehrs' acting was really bad or was it the script? The only other negative review I can think of is the grainy video transfer of this DVD. The credits show that it was shot on the "Red System" but it looked really grainy, so I blame the poor video mastering. Maybe it looks better on Blu-Ray?

A lead woman mechanic...what a joke! And of course she takes charge of all the men to save the day...u go girl!...puke! Just more hollywood fantasy drivel. Yet another liberal attempt to portray women as something other than they are....dress up, shopping, cry baby weaklings.....jeez........... well, at least I got 2 positive helpful remarks so far, as I see you have none (0) Terry W. No one says they have to like my review and no one is stopping them from making their own decision. This is MY review...PERIOD...@ssho1e
