Let me start by saying I like Indian movies. This movie, I don't know, maybe you'd have to be Indian to appreciate it. Or stoned. That might help. The blurb makes the movie sound interesting, but it is incredibly, world-class bad. The acting, the dialog, the graphics...awful. I watched (I had three vodka screwdrivers) the first few seconds of each scene - the movie was so bad I couldn't even watch it on fast-forward, I did scene-skip. If you want to give this movie a try, make sure you have a backup movie available! Ok,, I can think of one nice thing to say: some of the fashions worn by the lead actress were beautiful.

This was absolutely absurd...sub titles but no warning...poor poor quality...I watched 10 minutes! Plan 9 from Outer Space was better!

Typical Bollywood. Solid story line, typical acting and effects. Not sure what the others are complaining about. Some of the subtitles are hard to keep up with, but other than that, it was a fun movie.

This movie is a bore !!! It is from India and you have to choose subtitles... I did not like it at all, it was very boring, and I thought stupid ! Save your time, don't rent it... It has to do with Shiva, a God of India, and its very dull.

This was quite possible the worst movie I've seen in a long, long time. For being made in 1999, it has the campy quality of a movie made in 1979! I actually had to double check the year the film was made several times (as I would not have rented an indian film made in the 70's). This film has poor quality, terrible acting, and even worse dialogue. The plot was getting so ridiculously bizarre that I actually decided to take a nap while the movie was playing. When I woke up, I was disappointed that the movie had not ended! it lasted forever and it sucked!

If you are Indian, you will appreciate this absurdly sub-titles movie made entirely to focus the viewer on the need to obey the laws of Hinduism.

The subtitles were terrible. If there was a good story I'd have been unhappy having trouble following it. As it was, it only took a few minutes and some fast forward to see that this was a REAL loser!

The previews of the movie looked good, as did the start of the movie, but it was in a foreign language and a person watching has to read the closed caption to understand what they are saying, which detracts from the plot of the story. We watched a few minutes and after scanning ahead found there was no English spoken that we could hear. so we stopped the movie and prepared it for return. .
