Saturday Morning (2007)
Member Rating:
A youthful, mild-mannered executive discovers a world he never knew existed upon venturing outside at an hour when most regular folks are still sleeping in this comedy starring Joey Piscopo, Louis Mandylor, and George Wendt. Wes Selman (Piscopo) may not have much luck from nine to five, but when he's forced to leave his house at 6:00am one sunny Saturday morning, he notices something unusual. For approximately two hours beginning at 6:00am every Saturday morning, the world becomes a virtual utopia in which Wes can accomplish nearly anything his heart desires - including winning over the woman of his dreams, Lisa Mangione. But once that time is up, Lisa is no longer attracted to Wes. Perhaps with a little help from his best friend Frankie Cicotelli (Mandylor) and the sage advice of a mysterious stranger (Wendt), Wes can learn to carry his romance with Lisa into the rest of the week. ~ Jason Buchanan, Rovi

Awful. Acting was awful. Storyline might have had some potential, but it was so over the top absurd, that it quickly became apparent that was not going to be realized. Did I mention how awful the acting was? The production had the feel of a bad home-made movie. Please don't waste your time.

I am a big fan of independent films and young directors. I think the concept here was great and was executed very well.
