A graceful Amazon princess of untold strength and beauty attempts to prevent the god of war from instigating a conflict that will last for centuries and destroy the human race as the animated adventure marking the return of DC Comics heroine Wonder Woman. On the mystical island of Themyscira lives a fierce race of warrior Amazons who have raised a powerful daughter named Princess Diana. The Amazons live in secrecy from the outside world, but when Army fighter pilot Steve Travor crash-lands in their tropical paradise, the headstrong princess defies the law of the land by accompanying Trevor back to civilization. But her transition into the modern world won't be an easy one, because when Ares escapes from his Amazonian prison and begins plotting his revenge, Princess Diana is the only person who stands between the god of war, and the destruction of the human race - beginning with the Amazons. Now, as Princess Diana harnesses her unique powers to boldly fight back against Ares and save the planet from certain destruction, Wonder Woman is born and the battle for civilization begins. ~ Jason Buchanan, Rovi

I picked this up out of sheer curiosity despite being a 'comic book guy.' What I found was a great take on one of DC's icons. Plenty of action and flow to the story. There's a bit of violence that earns the PG-13 rating. Not being a spoiler guy: rent this. Especially if you have a daughter. WW is the female Superman and this flick sets that bar. They even worked in the costume design and its relevance. DC/Warner Bros keeps making these one shot animated movies that deserve sequels. This one undoubtedly earns one!

A couple small plot holes, makes me miss the voice(and sorta the personality) of the Justice League Wonder Woman. Other than that, it's really good. It's well animated, good origin story., the voice actors all do a respectable job. If you are a fan of the other DC cartoons like this, then certainly check it out.

Lot of fun. I have two young daughters and they really enjoyed a strong female superhero. Had some good humor for the adults too. A LOT of FUN!

Not as good as I thought. But it is watchable. WW fans might give it an extra star if they like the history development of WW. It is a little slow but not boring.

I have not seen a Wonder Woman movie or T.V. program. This one was entertaining.

Horrible. Unless you are a hardcore feminist I doubt you will find much good here. The lead male character (Steve?) is just plain annoying and has absolutely no depth as a character. You could not help but want him to get hit in the you know where. It was impossible to be sympathetic toward him. Since when do women fly military jets? Fiction all the way around. Bad fiction.
