We just rented this movie and loved it. My daughter (age 9) is now begging to read the Mandie books. It is very family friendly and a good adventure story.

This was a wonderful family movie. Our four girls were all able to watch it from age 9 down to 2. We were a little concerned about the "running away" part before we viewed it. We are pretty careful about rebellion against authority kinds of things. We did not have a problem with the running away because of the way it was handled in the movie. She was really running TO a real relative, rather then just running away. It was delightful and we would definitely watch it again.

This was a very enjoyable and entertaining family movie. We are all adults, but we loved the innocence and the mystery of the Secret Tunnel. Don't miss this one! There is so much to see!
