Love, abandonment, deception, and murder inform this independent thriller about a man who journeys back home to tie up some loose ends from the past, only to realize that there's no escaping his one true fate. Following the death of his father, John and his new wife Diane head back to the rural Pennsylvania farm where he spent his childhood. It was supposed to be a quick trip; John would claim the estate, they would check the farm to make sure everything was in order, and promptly get back to their normal, everyday lives back in the city. But the family farm wasn't the only thing that John inherited, and before this trip is over his dark legacy will finally come into focus. Now, as John begins focusing on the farm and ignoring his wife, Diane forms a fast friendship with Mindy, his childhood sweetheart. Unfortunately old flames have a tendency to burn when fed by the winds of passion, and Mindy has some incendiary secrets that could turn a simple trip to the country into an infernal nightmare that could consume everyone involved. ~ Jason Buchanan, Rovi
