House of Fears (2007)
Member Rating:
Unrest star Corri English headlines this haunted house shocker about a group of teens forced to confront their most primal fears. All they wanted was to experience a cheap thrill or two by exploring a house that was said to be haunted, but after discovering an exotic artifact these six teens will become trapped in a labyrinthine house of unimaginable horrors. Will anyone be left to tell their horrifying tale when the morning sun ascends over the horizon, or could this evil be powerful enough to consume them all body and soul? ~ Jason Buchanan, Rovi

Good horror movie. Story sounds familiar like its been done before but enjoyed the story, acting and good quality camera work. Definately did not have a B horror feel. Must have had a decent budget. I would recommend this movie to horror fans.

It seems like every horror movie these days is either a slasher flick or is chock full of suspense with no action whatsoever. This movie did a great job of walking the line between the two. It's got good suspense but also delivers on the scares and action. It was really creative if not 100% original, and has some really good acting for being an independent film. That's evidenced by the fact that several of these actors have gone on to TV and film roles. If you want gratuitous blood and nudity, go elsewhere. If you want a suspenseful and scary horror movie that really delivers despite not having a multi-million dollar budget, definitely check it out.

This was going to get a higher rating, until the ending. The girls are running from monsters all movie, then when they are feet away from freedom, one is to tired to move. Except for that, it was worth the time to watch.

It had some neat special effects but very predictable. If you want to be scared it may do that a little.
