I too was looking forward to see this with GREAT expectation. Yes is my favorite band and i like ALL of their songs, i've been to many of their concerts. I thought it would be impossible for me to be dissapointed with anything having to do with Yes. Sadly, i must say this DVD was dissappointing. Mostly because the sound is TERRIBLE. It's not something you can turn up nice and loud becuase the quality of the sound is really bad. I'm not saying you should not get this movie, but dont expect too much from it.

I looked forward to seeing this disc. However, I would consider it utterly disappointing. The video and sound quality are truly awful. The picture came off a 16mm camera AT BEST and the sound is a weak, noisy mono. Stage lighting is non existant so most of the images are in the dark or shadows. And, there are only 9 songs or so. Avoid.

This DVD is great! it is a regular 1972 concert filmed-no special lighting. Steve Howe is awesome!! Jon Anderson is great. Chris Squire is great.

I am a fan of Yes from back in the 1970's...never got to see the group live but knew that one day I would experience their concert... if only in my living room. Back in the day, as a guitarist and Steve Howe fan, I was impressed with Rick Wakeman's keyboard skills and the keyboard technologies of that time to take on keyboards myself. Minimoogs and mellotrons have now been replaced by compact digital instruments and digital fidelity. The YesSongs concert was all I could ask for...the impressive solos I recalled and sound recorded just good enough to appreciate the show. I particularly had a new appreciation for vocalist Jon Anderson...musicians tend to listen to musicians first as I did in my youth. The band's stage performance collectively was awesome.
