The fourth installment of the highly successful Bourne series sees the return of the franchise's screenwriter, Tony Gilroy, this time stepping into the director's seat for an entry which sidelines main character Jason Bourne in order to focus on a fellow estranged assassin (Jeremy Renner). Edward Norton and Rachel Weisz co-star, with Joan Allen and Albert Finney reprising their roles from the previous films. ~ Jeremy Wheeler, Rovi
Definitely a waste of time unless you enjoy action movies with impossible plots with lengthy action scenes. This is amongst the worst movies I have watched in the past 12 months. In my humble opinion; A wasted 2 hours+ of my time! But then again, what do I know? I believe that all of the positive reviews must have been written by the cast and production crew and the studio members!
Great action packed movie. Took a while for me to figure out what was going on at the beginning, (and I've seen all the Bourne movies! - but it had been a while) but I finally caught on & really enjoyed it a lot - even the nail-biting/edge-of-your-seat parts! Hubby liked it very much, of course! - from beginning to end! Def. worth the rental. Really liked the acting of Jeremy Renner & Rachel Weisz. They did very well together.
I love the Bourne movies, but this movie does not have Jason Bourne in it. I like Matt Damon as Jason Bourne, but this movie does not even have anybody as Jason Bourne. There is no Jason Bourne, only talking and pictures of him. This is not a "Bourne" movie. This was a waste of time for me. Do not rent this movie. You will be disappointed.
