The fourth installment of the highly successful Bourne series sees the return of the franchise's screenwriter, Tony Gilroy, this time stepping into the director's seat for an entry which sidelines main character Jason Bourne in order to focus on a fellow estranged assassin (Jeremy Renner). Edward Norton and Rachel Weisz co-star, with Joan Allen and Albert Finney reprising their roles from the previous films. ~ Jeremy Wheeler, Rovi
If you liked the earlier Bourne movies and want more of the same - this is close to the mark. Both the action and story match the first 3 Bourne movies pretty well. Rachel Weisz and Ed Norton both are good in their roles. On the downside, I'm finding the storyline getting stale and Jeremy Renner just isn't as likeable as Matt Damon. In the end, I just didn't care as much about his character or this movie.
I agree with Kristin. The movie was a lot of the same, weak story line just a lot of shoot em up type of action, amazing stunts and scenery but not any acamdemy winner. i think the Bourne movies have run their course and another should not be produced.
I watched the full movie here ----------> http://tiny.cc/movie784 (that link is for those who haven't watched it yet) Anyway, what can I say? this movie definitely made me love the characters and I can relate!! Just some minor plots that are ridicuous I didnt like.. anyway, 5/5 stars for this movie!!
Have been a Bourne fan. This movie took two hours of my life I wish I had back. Moved like molasses in winter, minimal action and no real drama anywhere. Mediocre performances by all involved. I have no clue where all of these 4 and 5 star reviews are coming from. Lacks the depth and detail of the rest.
