This movie, as camp as can be is fun and brings us all to a fantastic time that was abit off in fashion, but still has a soundtrack that will have you singing in your car. Anyway XANDADU deserves a second look as an adult, you might be suprised as to how much fun being goofy and liking the 80's camp can be.

If you're planning to see the musical "Xanadu" on Broadway (which is really, really fun!), watching this movie beforehand is a great idea so that you'll be familiar with the music. The music, Olivia Newton-John and Gene Kelly are all that's of value in the movie which is so bad that the Broadway production is actually a parody of it. Some of the acting is really painful to watch, but the music is great.

This movie I saw when I was 14. I FELL in love with it then. I watched it last year and thought it was so bad, but loved it JUST the same! This movie is a "classic," camp, retro, so 80's and Olivia is awsome ! A muse on roller scates?, HOW insanely AWSOME...LOL I love it!

Although the script for this movie leaves a lot to be desired, the musical numbers and the hit songs make it more than worth your while. Olivia looks amazing, as always.

My wife and I wanted to see this movie after recently seeing the musical stage play. It was fun, campy and well written. Though the movie started well, the second half appeared to have had a lot left out that the play included. The plot was just incomplete. I can't imagine that any writer worth his salt would have left a movie in such an inconclusive state, so I'm assuming something like budget exhaustion occurred. Anyway, the singing's good, but the movie's not very. Too bad. See the play if you have a chance.

Cheesy and so much fun! Every classic 80 stereotype. How can you not love it. May have to buy it for the days I feel nastolgic (never was good at spelling).

We did not watch the movie because when I received the movie, the DVD was broken. I returned the movie the same day I received it. I had seen the movie when it came out but wanted my daughter to see it. I may order it again. Thanks.

I watched this movie when it was in theatre's. Something about this movie that I could watch over and over again. The music is great. I could go on and on about it. I enjoyed it very much. The actors were great especially Olivia Newton-John. Doris S.

This was a kinda strange movie. Unless you like musicals with Olivia Newton-John, I wouldn't waste my time.

I might not be the best judge of this movie but only because I was born after this movie was made but it's very dated and I can't understand why it was so big. I love Gene Kelly and really liked the part where he and Olivia are tap dancing but what's up with "Swan" playing in a musical. He's war cheif from "The Warriors" and I counldn't get into him singing and Roller Skating.
