A group of 15 young sailors prepares to compete in the most revered open-ocean sailing competition in the country, and the director and editor of the 2006 surfing documentary Riding Giants keep their focus on the water in order to capture the adventure of a lifetime. Racing in the Transpac is no easy feat; after enduring six months of grueling training, the daring young crew of the Morning Light will engage in a 2,300-mile endurance against the most experienced sailors in the country. In the process of becoming a world-class team, however, this group will form a bond incapable of being broken by even the most massive of ocean waves. ~ Jason Buchanan, Rovi

Terrific movie with wonderful scenery. If you like sailing, you'll be jealous the whole movie through. Inspirational movie to watch with your teenagers, as well.

Very interesting documentary. Had me biting my nails several times. Suitable for tweens, teens and adults, especially if they have an interest in sailing.

My wife and I really enjoyed this movie in so many ways. If you are a sailor or any athlete who has trained to excel in a particular sport, you should enjoy this movie. It is great documentary and an inspirational movie for the whole family. I have sailed over 25 Chicago Mackinac Races and have experienced some really thrilling rides much like was depicted in this movie. It is very realistic in terms of what you can experience at sea. I will highly recommend it to all my sailing friends. Roy Disney holds the record for the fastest monohull to sail the Chicago Mackinac Race. I agree with all the positive comments and as far as movies go about sailing, it is one of the best that I have seen. I can not believe that you could not rent it in stores, but at least you could rent it online. Thank you for making it available to your customers.
