The Shepherd Border Patrol is going to be bashed by people who think that every movie should be an oscar winner. This is nothing more than a fun little action movie with Jean-Claude van Damme. Yes you can tell that the budget was limited but who cares. I think that it delivers exactly what it is suppose to. Shoot outs, car chases and some good martial arts fights. If anything, watch it for Scott Adkins. He is an up and coming martial arts star and is fun to watch! The fight scene between Scott and Jean-Claude is worth the money spent! My only complaint was that it was too short. But it is a great fight! I am a martial artist myself and love to watch fights on film. The Shepherd delivered! So sit back, turn off your brain and enjoy the cheesy fun!

This was one of the worst movies I have ever seen. I think a 13 year old must have written the script. It had hardly anything to do with the border patrol and was packed with corny action scenes were Jean-Claude uses martial arts to the beat up like 20 people all at once and miraculously dodge bullets like some superhero cartoon figure. If you like super corny action films that insult your intelligence rent this movie.
