Pistol Whipped is no doubt his best work in years. It is a different role for him because he is not perfect. He gambles, drinks and takes his daughter for granted. But when the time comes to go after the bad guys, he delivers! There are some good little fight scenes throughout and the end gun battle in the cemetary is worthy of anything that you would see in a big budget picture. If you don't like Seagal, don't watch it, because all you are going to do is complain. But for all of you Seagal loyalists, check it out! For what it is I liked It! Read More Like I have said in my other reviews. Steven Segal's acting career has almost been flushed down the toilet with the second rate movies he has been doing, this is just one example. These movies are pathetic with bad characters and half rate storylines. The only movies he done well in was Hard To Kill & a couple of his earlier movies. His fighting techniques have also suffered. All he seems to do now is slap fighting instead of kicking serious rearend. Come on Steven give us action adventure viewers a better movie and better actors. I gave this ** stars. The only thing I did like was the backdrop of Bpt., CT, my hometown. But even then, during the chase scene, the cars changed directions (all of a sudden going North on Main Street, after starting to go South) w/out hanging a U-turn!
