After revealing just what a diet of Big Macs can do to a person, filmmaker Morgan Spurlock takes a tongue-in-cheek look at another threat to our collective well-being in this witty documentary from the maker of Super Size Me. When Spurlock learns that he and his wife are expecting a baby, he decides that he wants the child to grow up in a safer world than we know today, so he takes it upon himself to track down the most dangerous man on Earth, Osama bin Laden. Spurlock hops on a plane and flies to the Middle East in search of his quarry, making stops in Egypt, Morocco, Israel, Saudi Arabia, Afghanistan, and Pakistan as he keeps an eye peeled for the head of Al Qaeda. When he isn't playing sleuth, Spurlock interviews people representing all walks of life, ranging from Orthodox Israeli enclaves and a mosque operated by rabidly anti-American Muslims to political moderates and ordinary folks at the supermarket, quizzing them about the nature of post-9/11 conflict and the need for peace. Where in the World Is Osama bin Laden? received its world premiere at the 2008 Sundance Film Festival. ~ Mark Deming, Rovi

This was a good movie, thoughtfully done. You can tell Morgan Spurlock is a good hearted person and shows both sides of issues without being a jerk like some other doc. film makers. The ending was a little duddy but to see people around the world that feel just like we do is refreshing. The Hasidic Jews and the Saudis were the WORST! If you are looking to this movie for laughs, you are a goober.

A very different movie that definitely makes a person think about people all over the world and how they basically think about things just as we do. The tittle is a little misleading, and for those reviewers who though the whole purpose of the movie was to find Bin Laden, well, those folks just didn't get it. A good watch when you want something other than super heroes, guns blazing and car chases.

This movie really puts our relationship with the middle east in a new perspective and makes some really great points! The movie is so exciting it just flew by!

good and witty. Shows the arab world likes us as a people, yet they dislike our govt. (which is the biggest international evil).

An entertaining (often funny!) and informative view of the Middle East, the people and it's politics. I learned some things about the Middle East I never knew before. I still feel bad for his wife though, being left for months while she's pregnant with their first child.

A slightly entertaining movie. Not as good as Super Size Me but still very interesting. Watch it and judge for yourself.

This movie started out alright, then quickly went downhill. Was very low budget, which is fine if it's entertaining and/or thought provoking (like super size me was), but this was not. Do not rent this as it's a total waste, and I rarely turn movies off....but this one went off in a hurry. Nothing like his other movies and not well done...very disappointing.

What was the point of this film? You didn't even find Osama. Why did you even make this film? You explore some middle east countries and each case you ask normal bystanders this very idiotic question: "Do you know where Osama is?" Anyone with a little cash and a film crew could have made this film? If you were going to make a film don't disappoint the audience, will you. Peace!

this movie really opened my eyes. the message and the political perspective of the movie slowly becomes evident as it goes on. i now see things from a different perspective altogether. the movie really taught me alot and has liberated my way of thinking. most of all this movie has made me realize how stupid and how low movie making can get. the music sound track puts you to sleep. it takes you on a world trip that should be named Some Americans are Stupid trip. this movie was made for guilt ridden hypocrite retards that have nothing to do all day, and the sad thing is that i took the time to get it. the movie is not worth the postage stamp you spent sending it to me.
