When Nature Calls (1985)
Member Rating:
In the wacky satire When Nature Calls, an urban family moves to the country in order to get back to nature. Set as a film within a film, the movie mocks a number of film and television cliches with an exaggerated glee; it also features cameos from a number of celebrities. ~ Stephen Thomas Erlewine, Rovi

A very funny movie originally, but this is a highly edited version. If they'd kept in the best parts.....

No where does it say "TROMA FILM in the desc, but with Kaufmans as the directors I should have been forwarned. Compared to the "Scary Movie" series it's a 3 on a 1-10 scale, but it's meant to be campy by being awful. And remember this is 1985 not the 2000's. For me, only the first Toxic Avwnger & Class of Nuk'em High are good from Troma.

I don't usually write reveiws but if I can spare someone the pain of watching this, the time taken to write this is well spent. No slapstick humor, no plot, no nothing.

This movie was about as "B movie" as you can get. A lot of it was very corny, but there were some parts that really made me laugh. Overall I thought the movie was enjoyable.

Did not get to watch the movie, the DVD would not load in my player, which is a high end brand.
