A hundred years after being brutally murdered by the justice-seeking citizens of a small town, a supernatural killer fulfills his promise to return from the grave and seek vengeance against the descendents of the people who slaughtered him in this stalk-and-slash shocker from director Steven Charles Castle. A recent rash of murders has the citizens of a small college town locking their doors in fear, yet even the locals raised o the legend of Jacob Bradford refuse to acknowledge that he may have finally returned to make good on his word. When Jacob's great granddaughter Jenny begins dating the great grandson of the very man who set the whole nightmare into motion, the murders become increasingly gruesome while also spreading to the next town over. Now, as the one person capable of ending the bloodshed slowly begins to make sense of the past, Police Chief Brad McCormack and Forensics Officer Janet Moore piece together the puzzle that has fueled the nightmares of local children for far too long. ~ Jason Buchanan, Rovi

Your typical horror movie ingredients...slasher, romance, systematic picking off of supporting characters...the rest is up to your taste. I think the modern, and more realistic bits (voyeurism on DVR, college co-eds, technology) mixed with the old fashioned Amish-like slasher gives the film enough originality to make it okay. Is it the best, no? But for the budget and novice actors efforts, as well as originality, this is pretty good B-horror movie. If you're a fan of the genre (low budget horror/B horror films), then you can appreciate the effort, and should find enjoyable moments. 2.5 stars.
