Terrible. The Amazing Spider-Man is the worst Spider-Man movie I have ever seen. Bad special effects, bad story, bad writing, bad directing - everything is bad. It's like Spider-Man is his own worst enemy in this, as Andrew Garfield makes for an awful Spider-Man all around. Was this review helpful? Yes

As a HUGE Spider-Man Fan, I am SO happy I waited to rent this and not wasted $15 to see it in the theaters. Most of the casting was great, but it was a HUGE miss on the lead and villian. The plot was not great, but had a few moments, and let's face it, Spider-Man had nowhere to go up up after Spider-Man 3. Since we are gonna be stuck with this new re-boot for at least 2 more movies, I can only hope the next one it more exciting, and less boring. Was this review helpful? Yes

This movie was a definite step down from the other Spiderman movies. Spiderman was weak and unbelievable. His costume was awful and his "creation" of the spider web was ridiculous. He really had nothing special at all. The spider biting him didn't really mean anything other than an insect bite. I would not recommend this movie. Was this review helpful? Yes

An extremely boring movie that is basically still the same crappy story as the previous Spiderman movies. There is a bright spot, Andrew Garfield and Emma Stone are much better actors then Tobey Maguire and Kirsten Dunst. They make the movie tolerable. Other then that I would not recommend this movie.
