Produced by J.J. Abrams and written by Aline Brosh McKenna (The Devil Wears Prada), director Roger Michell's comedic glimpse into the cutthroat world of live television finds a desperate female news producer (Rachel McAdams) attempting to put out the flames between an anchorman (Harrison Ford) and his blustery but iconic cohost (Diane Keaton) in a last-ditch effort to save their failing morning show. Jeff Goldblum co-stars in the Paramount Pictures production. ~ Jason Buchanan, Rovi

This was really great. It started off ok then when Harrison Ford came in it got so much better. He was really funny in it. It had to be one of his best, yeah not an action but still VERY good. This was better then some of the other comedies i saw like The Hangover it was better then that. I can't wait til it comes to DVD. Might just have to go see it again.

Much better than expected. I was expecting a typical slow romance but it is so much more. I found the movie to be quite funny at times and very entertaining. The only negative thing I can say about the movie is Harrison Ford's performance. I thought his acting felt forced. He tried so hard to play a serious character that he actually managed to drain some of the life from the film. He is very monotone throughout the movie and he shows little emotion or expressions through most of it. But Rachel McAdams does an excellent job protraying a work alcoholic producer who is running at 90 miles an hour while multi-tasking on 12 things at once. I was getting tired just watching her go. She deserves a round of applause for her top notch performance.

Loved it! Not for kids, but so well done! The whole theater was laughing!

A tremendous cast all around, but just not light enough to make for a great comedy. Diane Keaton shines, as always, but Rachel McAdams is forced to push too hard to get the story moving. Perhaps, it just takes Harrison Ford too long to lighten up.

This movie is funny. It was refreshing to see a movie that doesn't depend on vulgarities to get it's laughs. I would have rated it higher; but the movie drags at times. A few seconds trimmed here and there would have made a BIG difference in the pacing of the movie.

A young morning show producer is brought in to revitalize a declining program. Not expected to succeed, she attempts to do so by firing the current co-host and bringing in a veteran newsman who believes that the soft stories typical of such shows are beneath him. He feuds with virtually everyone, and the new producer tries to make the show work. The film worked for me, with Rachel MacAdams superbly cast in a role that she is perfectly suited for. Just enough insights are provided into the behind the scenes at a morning show, and the movie is lighthearted enough to keep the audience entertained.
