Most of the time this series is ok for my 10-12 yr old. But the 2nd show on this disk is sexually graphic.

This is a GREAT series. It's sort of like XFiles, but with that great English sense of humor. The characters are perfect, the stories are weird and fun. I can't wait to start the next season!

John Barrowman makes a very sexy "Captain Jack", attractive to females and males. This show makes aliens believeable. As good as DR WHO!

This series reminds me of the Dr. Who series, but a little more adult. It is done well and has some strange topics, but they keep getting more interesting.

Just completed watching the entire first season. I am a sci fi buff, so I really enjoyed the first season. I love the twist of the bisexual characters. Lots of intense moments, interesting moments, and head-scratching moments. Sometimes cheap production quality, but it was a television series and not a movie; and it was the first season. Maybe the second season will improve in production quality.

great spin off of Doctor Who. I really like knowing what's going on with past companions of the Doctor and what they have done with their lives after the Doctor.

Love this series! Like other reviewers have stated, this series is not really for really young kids. It is a bit more graphic (violent), and sexually explicit than the Doctor Who series. But still not as graphic/explicit as any other "action" show on American TV. It is a great show! Similar to Doctor Who in that it deals with really cool aliens. But then it goes a lot further into the relationships between the Torchwood members and their families...that's were it gets juicy. All of you ladies out there will love Captain Jack...and the guys will have Gwen, very sexy. BTW...rearrange the letters of Torchwood, and it spells Doctor Who. Bottom Line: If you love Doctor Who you will love Torchwood.

Torchwood says that we are outside police, army & MI5 to catch aliens. They do so only when they time left after all the sexual activities for the day has been completed. What a piece of stinking load. Dr Who series and Primeval is million times better than this spin-off of Dr Who series. Definitely not for children and even young adults. The lack of story is made up of all kinds of sexual escapades. If I want to see adult theme programs, then there are a full section available for such theme. Don't slap it on scifi based programs, and present it as a scifi program. Very disappointing.
