Who were the bad guys? Well told story. Side Note: If you rent it from Blockbuster be sure to grab both disc 1 and disc 2. I had just rented disc 1 not knowing that there was a second disc to be rented. Thought the story ended without tying up some loose ends. Upon returning asked the Rep about it and he told me there was a second disc. They are not well marked on the shelf. Close this Review WAS THIS REVIEW HELPFUL? Yes | No

It has some dull moments, but filled with historical events and if you grew up anytime from the 50's-80's everything makes sense and even though fiction gives you a look into what went on back then.. other than this I would recommend Close this Review WAS THIS REVIEW HELPFUL? Read More The Company was fantastic and I'm glad I didn't hear much about it prior to me discovering it on the new release rack. I read a bit about it then, was intrigued, and then added it to my queue. Wow was I happy I added it. I enjoy CIA movies and thought the last one I watched was entirely boring. Good Shepherd. That made me a bit reluctant to take on a series like this but again it was well worth it. I though Keaton, O'Donnell, and Molina all did exceptionally well. But, it is great to watch. However, I do suggest some light reading if you are not familar with History of the time: From the COLD WAR to the BAYS OF THE PIGS. Also, it didn't explain what GULAG was. So, a brush up reading would also help to get a better understanding. If ya know your history, then you will enjoy this movie immensely! Close this Review WAS THIS REVIEW HELPFUL? Yes | No

Read More I started watching this mini series while on vacation and missed the last two so I wanted to finish the whole thing. The first two episodes were fantastic, with a lot of political background to events that happened before I was born. The acting was great and the threading of events and details to form the complicated and ever life altering events that were depicted were fasinating. I wasn't so impressed with the end, or maybe I thought that there would be another episode. In any event, worth watching. Close this Review WAS THIS REVIEW HELPFUL? Yes | No

Read More Michael Keaton, Alfred Molina and other are suberbly cast. Unfortunately, less attention was paid to their makeup and costumes, as the story attempts to cover the life time of the main character, but they indicate so seemingly with only grey makeup and hair spray. The star's tone of voice remained young and vibrant.
Michael Keaton plays a suberb, chilling role, and made the movie all the more worth it. I'd see it again just to see him. Close this Review WAS THIS REVIEW HELPFUL? Yes | No
