This was a sweet movie of first love between two boys and how religious views can destroy it. I grew up in a Christian home, so I was able to identify with the main characters torture about his sexuality. The freedom of his neighbor's sexuality is in start contrast to his own. The movie shows that while love doesn't always have a happy ending, it can be a great healing influence.

This is a touching, heartfelt 'coming out' story that handles the subject of balancing self-acceptance and Christian beliefs with sensitivity and intelligence.

i actually really liked the actors in this movie. i thought they were all perfect. it's a great great story, but even in the short 78 minutes, it drags on sometimes, like the other reviewers say. however, it's definitely not boring. be sure to check out the deleted scenes!

Very familiar theme for a lot of people, religion vs sexuality, including myself. The two lead actors did a good job and I found the tone of the movie very sweet.

Pretty much a standard i'm-religious-but-coming-to-terms-with-my-sexuality movie. Five minutes into the movie I turned to my boyfriend and correctly predicted the rest of the movie. The acting was probably better than the standard lgbt movie affair, but nothing great. overall, a pretty unsatisfying film.

My wife and I loved this movie. Done very well. The conflict in the one actor between the truth of self and religion was portrayed very well.

This would have been a great 18 minute short film. The rest of the time I thought I was watching a travel video about the coast of Northern California. This musical interlude has a few scenes with plot dropped in occasionally. The musical time could have easily been filled with conversations, instead of longing looks, and a little character development.

This somewhat slow-moving, character-driven, coming-of-age story set in a low-key coastal town, grew on me. The ending was reminiscent for me to the ending of "Ordinary People". It was not as strong/powerful an ending as in "Ordinary People", yet still moving. I had a strong desire to re-watch the film, which i did more than once, and as I re-watched, I found myself much more interested in and caring for all the characters. Now, I want to know what happens with Brady (Sean Hoagland). Does he go to college and where? Does he correspond with or ever see Clifford (Owen Alabado) again. I'd love to see a sequel.

This movie was boring! All actors are bad except for "Brady." I had to FF it.
