Robert Zemeckis directs this animated version of the Yuletide classic A Christmas Story. The story centers on Ebenezer Scrooge (Jim Carrey), a penny-pinching miser who cares nothing for the people around him, least of all his hopelessly downtrodden employee Bob Cratchit (Gary Oldman) and infectiously optimistic nephew, Fred (Colin Firth). This movie was awful. We rented it for our 3yr and 10yr old and it creaped them out. This version of the dickins classic was very dark and not for any kids under 15.

This not the best version of A Christmas Carol, however it is by Disney and I think it is better than the Mickey Christmas Carol by Disney. I would rent it for the children between 9 and 12. It is funny and has most of the Christmas Carol story.. in it.
