Maverick director Walter Hill, who had a big hit with 48 Hrs., indulges his customary yen for violent and disturbing scenes in this overlooked action film, which was also released under the name Looters. Set in the economically-depressed town of East St. Louis, IL, the film's release was delayed several months because its riot scenes were too similar to those that actually took place in the summer of 1992 in L.A. Bill Paxton plays Vince and Bill Sadler plays Don. They are a couple of good-old-boy firefighters who are tipped off that some stolen gold treasures have been hidden in an old warehouse. They find and enter the building but witness a brutal murder. The gangland killing is part of a turf battle between two rival drug lords. When one of them finds out that the firemen have seen the execution, he orders the witnesses murdered. But they have found the treasure and have kidnapped one gang leader's brother. An elaborate and violent series of skirmishes and chases ensue. Rapper-actors Ice-T and Ice Cube have roles as leading gang members. ~ Michael Betzold, Rovi

Awesome Movie! One of those great action flicks you've never heard of! Good subplot (who doesn't love a treasure hunt?1), bullets galore and great stuntwork! Music giants Ice Cube and Ice T make formidable bad guys... Get the Popcorn going and press PLAY!

I had never heard of this film. I like everyone in it plus Hill is a great director. Good from start to finish with great acting and lots of action. I liked it, but my wife wasn't crazy about the language which comes with the teritory. I spent an hour watching the Indy 500 with ICE-T a few years ago and found him to be a super nice guy. Handled all the autograph seekers very well. One of his best.

I had never heard of this film. I like everyone in it plus the Wilter Hill is a great director. So I fell upon this one and it was a very good film. Made in 1992 and I guess it fell through the craks as they do at times. Good from start to finish with great acting. If somehow you missed it too it's a go.

I enjoyed watching Ice-T, Ice Cube, and Bill Paxton back when they weren't old men...like me. It was fun trying to keep count of the MF's, and N words spouted from an oh so cool gang of thugs. Mindless, but a good movie to kick back and let your brain rest to after a day at the office. Bill Paxton was in normal form from his youth. Not Aliens good or Weird Science good, but still nostalgic. "Guess he wasn't so Lucky after all" Awesome.

Had hopes that this film might provide some mindless late night reasonable entertainment, but alas, pathetic dialogue from the mouth of Mr. Paxton ruined even that hope. Nothing worse in a movie of this type than a character who seemingly gets moral and ethical on us at the most ridiculous moments.

I have no knowledge of this movie. Could not watch the first one or the second one sent to me. I haven't been given credit for returning the second one although Charley Varrick came in the mail since, and my wife checked out The Hurt Locker with the return of the Trespass mailer. The first Trespass was cracked, sent back and the second one came, but non viewable, the third did not come, only the Varrick movie. Please credit the Trespass and compensate. Thanks.
