Despite the fact that she has only gone on one short date with the man, a love-struck puzzle creator becomes enamored with a successful cameraman and follows him to a series of media events in hopes that the feeling is mutual. a deeper meaning is expressed in this poignant "comedy". I came away with lots of different feelings.......sad/happy emotions. Sad in how her character was being used/made fun of by Thomas Haden Church character but happy in how true friendships were made and Mary was in the end an inspiration to Cooper and Church characters. Rather slow-moving but I'd recommend it. She is a hoot also and has such a flair for comedy! QUITE A TALENT. I just love Thomas H. Church; he is absolutely awesome

I had not heard very good things about this movie, so I had no expectations when I watched it. While this would not be one for Academy Awards, I actually enjoyed most of it. Not everyone fits in the same mold, as Sandra Bullocks character demonstrates. But even though someone is different, they can still contribute in their own way. I did not care for the scene in the car, but other than that, I enjoyed it.

A very funny movie... I would not pay to go to the movies to see this movie, but it is great on DVD.

While better than the critics said it was, it was not great fun either. Did actually have a story and a message to it, though. Just don't place too high on your priority list.

Not the best Sandra Bullock movie. her character's personality was ridiculous and annoying. Plot was predictable. i wish i hadn't spent the time watching it.

This was a such a bad movie, I was shocked. I enjoy Sandra Bullock, but her acting seems forced in this movie and the screen play is horribly written.

Bad acting, dumb story line. I couldn't get through 30 minutes of it before I had to turn it off and do something better with my time.

I love Sandra Bullock and all of her other movies but I could not watch this movie. I'm going to blame the director for having her make the character she plays so irritating that you cannot like her. I turned it off after about 1/2 hour so it may have gotten better but I couldn't keep watching to find out..
