A widow in mourning and a heartbroken artist enter into a passionate affair that helps to heal old wounds in this romantic drama starring Melissa Gilbert and Brad Johnson. Ofelia (Gilbert) is a single mother who recently lost her husband, and Matt is an artist who wanders the beach in search of inspiration. When these two damaged souls cross paths on a secluded beach, both begin to sense that they may one day love again. But even as their passions begin to reignite the dark clouds of the past begin to gather overhead, ominously threatening to snuff out what could be their last chance at love. ~ Jason Buchanan, Rovi

Great heart felt movie- with realistic story line...... I have liked every Danielle Steele movie, but I really enjoyed this story since it seemed more real- like this could happen to you. Definitely- a movie to watch by yourself on a Sunday afternoon when you have 2 hours to yourself. A touching story about dealing with loss, and learning how to pick yourself up and trying again at life.

I was disapointed with this movie. The other reviews here made me think it would be really good. It was very slow and did not keep my interest at all. Plus the french accent does not go with Mellisa Gilbert

Classic Steel Movie. Predictable but I liked it. Like others said, they didn't need Gilbert to have that off french accent, wasn't necessary. A little slow but I was able to watch the entire thing

I was very happy with this movie. I like all of Danniel Steels books and this was no exception. It was a great plot and can happen to anyone. He was very patient when she totally rejected him. Her daughter first befriended him and had a mutual love of art to have a great relationship. Her mother forbid her to have anything to do with this stranger on the beach but finally came around and ended up in love and married.

This movie was a tranquilizer even for me and I'm a woman. No substance to the story line, very predictable, bad acting. The WORST part was the horrible FAKE FRENCH ACCENT by Melissa Gilbert. We almost stopped the whole movie because it was incredibly annoying. Don't waste your time.
