Veteran AIP genre star Larry Bishop (son of famed Rat Packer Joey Bishop) directs and stars in this gritty revenge tale concerning a biker gang that rallies to avenge the violent murder of a fellow gang member. An homage to such classic biker films as Chrome and Hot Leather and Angel Unchained, Hell Ride was conceived when director Bishop was invited to Quentin Tarantino's home to view a print of The Savage Seven. Upon realizing that there hadn't been a true biker film in years, the pair quickly contacted Bob Weinstein and conspired to produce a lean and mean two-wheeled revenge flick that would more than make up for lost time. ~ Jason Buchanan, Rovi
Hot chicks getting it on w/ each other, more hot chicks, bikers, babes & booze; if u like tarantino's movies you'll like this enough said! maybe next time all you people that got the wrong movie will get up off your arse! & go rent the right movie from the store, so u can see what you're renting.Rent It!
I loved this movie... I didn't even hear about it on TV. I was just scrolling through Blockbuster Online, and found it. I don't know why other reviewers are trashing this movie so bad. They must not RIDE, or just like girlie movies. This movie is like having The Hell's Angels vs. The Mongols duke it out in the middle of the desert on the highway or in a biker bar. But, the added plus of having T & A, and lots of action!
So, if you are a biker... RENT this!
The Ultimate Biker Film. This is the Biker genre epitomized. It has guns, beer, bikes, girls, Dennis Hopper, and David Carradine. An all around great film. Gotta give mad props to Larry Bishop, for getting Michael Madsen. You could definitely see the Tarantino influence.
Could have been great, but worked better as a late-night skinamax film than an action/revenge thriller. Not really worth it overall. Acting was decent or better for most of the cast and the characters seemed like they'd be really interesting if there had only been a bit more emphasis on their background. We learn a tiny bit through flashback sequences, but don't get a feeling of motivation, giving me no attachment to the Victors or their plight at all.
Wild motorcycle movie with guns, drinking, naked wimmen. Graphic violence like all Tarantino films. This is a guy film, not for your family time film or first date.
I like exploitation movies from the 70s. I liked all of the old biker movies from that era. This movie is just abunch of cliched garbage. In fact if you want to get really high and/or really drunk with some friends and watch this you will probably laugh your behind off. Michael Madsen really must need a check. Avoid this movie its real bad.
I did not even understand what the hell was going on during most of the movie. I can't say that I would recommend this movie to anyone cause it was simply not that great.
This has got to be a f@#$%iNG joke. How could Blockbuster blunder this badly on a movie that has not even been released yet? Hey Blockbuster, WAKE UP!!!!!
