The Pacifier director Adam Shankman helms this children's fantasy concerning a hotel handyman who gradually begins to realize that the imaginative bedtime stories he tells his niece and nephew are somehow beginning to manifest themselves in the real world. ~ Jason Buchanan, Rovi
Not my favorite movie. Adam Sandler doesn't pull off the nice guy. making a PG movie for kids stuff. But, I liked it, and if you have kids, especially young ones, I'd have to tell you to pick this over and other Adam Sandler movie.
very cool movie! fun of fun and fantasy!! great movie for kids with adults! i say with only because it is a good family builder! watched it with two 12year olds and we all laughed like crazy people!
I was sorry that my children saw this. There was too much "beach scene" for my young fellow; there was too much encouragement for youngsters to pursue romantic interests--totally unnecessary. The story line might have been cute without the crude words and suggestions. I just couldn't get past those in my final thoughts about this movie. Not beneficial for anyone at any age.
Probably one of the funnier Adams Sandler movies I have seen in a long time. It just goes to show that movies to not have to use extreme vulgarity to try and be considered a progressive comedy. The supporting actors and actresses are great in their roles also. The story is imaginative and well directed. Add to that a bug-eyed guinea pig who stole scenes throughout the movie.
