A group of crazed young neo-Nazi vigilantes try to take over California's beaches in a campy apocalyptic saga that takes place after a devastating earthquake wipes out half of the Golden State's population. A rival gang of surfers is challenging the Surf Nazis' turf, and the beaches turn into battlefields. One of the Nazi's leaders is named Adolf, and he tries to make love to his girlfriend on the sands but is rebuffed. The anti-Nazi fighters are led by an overweight surf gangster named Leroy's Mama, who uses hand grenades to dispatch the Surf Nazis one at a time. The film is a cult classic of bad acting and poorly staged special effects. It's a product of Troma Studios, which specializes in such intentionally tasteless and cheap low-budget films aimed at the collegiate market. ~ Michael Betzold, Rovi

A totally decent B-movie! Good footage of surfing, and an almost "Warriors"esk gang battle. Some standard tromaville bits and some unexpected turns! All in all; worth watching!

Much better than the title (and it's tie to Troma) suggests. Yeah, it's silly. The surf footage is great. (To bad the movie gets in the way, Hee-Hee). It had me laughing and rolling my eyes. One of the better low-budget movies I've seen. If your into off beat stuff it's good for a night of goofs. Lots of DVD extras.

Not as bad as I thought it was going to be. I am a child of 80s/90s so i grew up watching some Troma movies, mostly on USA Up All Night. The plot was simple enough, but well done aside from the way they were controlling the beach and surfers by intimidation. Give me a break, there was only 6 of them against like 15+ with all the other gangs combined. You can't help but root on Mama as she takes them out in funny and OMG you got jacked up ways.

Hey....What can I say, but that it's great! But then again, I'm in it! lol... I play 'Teeth', in the Pipeliners Gang, but I get killed when I try to kill one of the Surf Nazis (and that is NOT ME SCREAMING when I die! They dubbed that, and I swear it sounds like a chick!) Actually, the script had a lot of potential when I first read for the lead role, but it kind of went off under it's own power and lost focus, thus becoming a very campy movie. But it is kind of fun if you don't expect too much, and Leroy's Mama is an entertaining character. Some decent surfing footage in Hawaii, which is supposedly L.A. after the riots and devastation. (I rented 'Alexander', and I can tell you you'd do no worse with Surf Nazis....AND it's a lot shorter!) If you're on the BB subscription, hey...it's free...and you can look for me! And by the way....I'm the only actor who can actually surf - for real.
