Re-Animator director Stuart Gordon takes the helm for this disturbing tale of a compassionate retirement-home caregiver whose life is turned upside down after a gruesome hit-and-run accident leaves a severely injured homeless man lodged helplessly in her shattered windshield. Despite her repeated promises to take her ailing victim to the hospital, the realization that the accident could destroy both her career and her future finds her uncharacteristically deciding to let the man die a slow death in her garage while conspiring with her boyfriend to dispose of the body. A fictionalized account of actual events, Stuck was co-scripted by director Gordon and frequent Tales from the Darkside contributor John Strysik. ~ Jason Buchanan, Rovi
I thought this movie was great!! It kept my attn all the way. It's pretty good acting, too.
It gives a good deal of thought about doing drugs, drinking, and using the cell phone while driving.
I did not like this movie at all. I thought it was slow moving and predictable. There was very little suspense. The plot was shallow. There's really just not much to the film; it did not keep my attention at all.
I am not of a fan of this film and would only recommend it if you are a fan of one of the actors. Of the lot, Stephen Rea delivered the best performance but even that was dragged down by a poor script.
I'm not sure how this movie merits the reviews it has and 3 1/2 stars come on. I never saw the "suspense" everyone was talking about. The whole movie felt s pretty slow.
The true story part is sad, however, the movie portrays a White Trash girl on the road to nowhere. Bad choice of roles the actors played. Suspensful at times-Yes, but NASTY movie and storyline overall...and it gave Mena a nasty Bad image of a white girl...Terrible & a WASTE of viewing time!!
