When we realize how screwed up a world we live in- it great to have an Aqua Teen Escape. The artists pulled off a feature length story with a plot, a theme, and a message. Long live Frylock, Meatwad, Shake, and that Joe- Peter Boyle, Archie Bunker like-- CARL!!! These guys are the product of every funny thing that went before them- they represent the DEVO-lution of the film world. This is a movie to see many times to absorb all the Firesign Theateresque things that happen. Go ahead LOL and watch the Aqua Teen series as well. You won't be disappointed!!

it's hard to believe that the writers so successfully converted an 11minn episode series into a full-length 90 minute feature length film!! I love the show on TV to DEATH and so it was no surprise to me that I absolutely love the movie to death as well. Someone who has never seen a ATHF episode on tv.. will be in for a crazy psychedelic ride!! I think a first-time viewer can in fact enjoy the movie by itself. boy, they had better have an open mind!!!

I'm not a fanboy of ATHF, but I was intrigued that the movie didn't get horrible reviews from critics. I surprised myself by liking the movie, though I would never admit it in polite company. I even wallowed into the second disk which was only roughly animated. The deleted movie was evidently, and wisely, shortened. Some of the deleted bits were funny, but the sheer number of tangents became tiresome.

the beginning of this movie starts in africa, egypt or something! this movie is weird of all reasons.the movie is about the aqua teens wanting woman(except for frylock),so shake suggests that they exercize,so frylock orders a exercize machine called the insane-o-flex! but when they get it its missing a peice then steal it from DR.weird! when they turned the machine on it transforms into a giant metal monster! threatning the very lives in the town of new jersey ,the aqua teens step up to the plate to save the day! featuring a huge cast of characters!

I thought the show was great, but this movie just sucked. I was worried it would be a rehash of the series, but it wasn't even that. Complete crap.

I've seen almost every episode of ATHF the series and loved 90% of them. The ones I didn't love were horrible and made absolutely no sense (in a bad way) such as hypno germ. I feel like the movie almost ruined aqua teen for me forever. After seeing it, I cried for 10 hours straight and then proceeded to watch my favorite episode, The Shaving, 27 times in a row. Luckily that snapped me out of it and I once again love the show.

I patriotically followed ATHF along in Seasons 1-4 then began to see the deterioration in such highly acclaimed episodes as "Boost Mobile." The ATHF movie continues this debacle in an hour 1/2 of pure lack of comedy. Don't misread - I love the show and will still continue to catch it every night, but this movie I will never see again nor will I recommend it to anyone. There's a reason each episode lasts 15 minutes; the comedic talent of the writers stops at minute 16. The movie opens with a repeated reminder that "we've got your money now." They take great pride in the fact I just spent $9 to watch a movie that was drastically worse than the 15 minute slot it gets on TV. The movie's "plot" is basically finding out where the Hunger Force came from. But, who cares? We just want to see them do their silly hijinks. I wouldn't even recommend this on DVD - wait until [AS] decides to publically display it - it should be just a few short months because it won't be in theaters long.
