A cozy coffeehouse serves as the setting for director John Cosgrove's over-caffeinated tale of sexual peccadilloes and complicated relationships starring Mena Suvari, Katherine Heigl, and Breckin Meyer. It's a typical lunch hour in London, and The Black Cat Café is fast filling up with patrons whose sexual lives have become a tangled web of infidelity, kinky idiosyncrasies, and betrayal. Stoned on some of the most potent weed in jolly old England, a neurotic young commitment-phobe attempts to keep his cool when he has an unexpected run-in with his bitter ex-girlfriend. But he's not the only one whose secrets are about to come out today, because after a shy young lady is forced to fend off a boorish blind date whose preconception of her couldn't be more wrong, a possessive boyfriend discovers that his current girlfriend was once a well-known adult film star. Later, after a fragile old lady mistakes a patron for the ex-husband she once found in a compromising position with a kinky prostitute and a high-powered attorney discovers that her husband-to-be likes to dress in ladies' clothes, the manager's boyfriend claims that a recent ménage à trois is perfectly forgivable since it was conducted with a pair of identical twins. ~ Jason Buchanan, Rovi

A largely unfunny, predictable, and tired film that seemed like it went on forever. It's ashamed when you got this great cast in this horrible movie. What is Kathrine Hiegel doing in ther? Her fake brittish accent was the thing that bugged me the most. You'll need caffeine by the end of this movie because it will put your ass right to sleep.

Great actors, but HORRID movie. It's very hard to follow and totally stupid. We couldn't even watch the whole film. We turned it off about half way through. Don't waste your time.

Love the actors in the movie. But the movie was horrible. I tried to fast forward to see if it would get any better. It didnt. Don't waste your time.

I would strongly suggest bypassing this low budget, sleezy, plotless piece of trash for just about any other movie available. You'll never regret following this suggestion!!!

This is a British-humor'ed film. As everyone knows, ever since we left the motherland, American comedy has been very different than the Queen's very own. Do not expect Damon Waynans or Ben Stiller like comedy, but instead expect Woody Allen - like melodramatic humor sprinkled with Benny Hill -like acting. Boring and Dull.

Numerous simultaneous stories -- if one didn't strike my fancy it was quickly replaced by a better one. Beautiful Mena Suvari, Katherine Heigl & Marsha Thomason added eye candy. And everything happened so fast, one thing's for sure -- director John Cosgrove will never die of old age. I'll take 100 more flicks like this one. The bloopers, deleted scenes & behind the scenes featurette were entertaining too.

This movie was filled with quirky characters and if you enjoy meeting characters in a movie you will enjoy this one. This is not a movie for being entertained. It is more about relationships and what friends and strangers discover about themselves and their surroundings.

I enjoyed the coziness of the cafe, and the inhabitants were hilarious! Goes to show everyone in life has issues, and we just need to accept everyone for who they are. Yes, it is British humor, but it's not inaccessible to American audiences. To me it was like a long sitcom, almost as good as Two and a Half Men, but involves the cafe inhabitant's issues of dating, infidelity, your-girlfriend-was-a-porn-star, etc. I highly recommend. Hilarious!
