Making great fun of the '70s, this lively sci-fi comedy centers on a trio of time travellers who go into the past in hopes of retrieving the Constitution to celebrate America's 300th birthday. Unfortunately, the travelers end up in 1976 not 1776. The trouble is, they don't realize it. ~ Sandra Brennan, Rovi

This movie was a lot of fun to watch. I also appreciated the examination of the seventies from an outside point of view ( the future ). However, the people acted in ways I couldn't possibly relate to. There were also gags that were way too silly.

WOW. Who ever would have thought that time travel would be possible without a delorian and plutoneum??but with eye drops and pop rocks! I have to admit-- campy- but I did laugh..

I thought I liked time travel movies, and I thought I liked the 1970's. Ugh. I get the feeling Lucas Reiner got a video camera for his birthday from his dad or granddad (yes, Rob and Carl Reiner, you guessed it) and they agreed to produce this thin plotted, half-baked attempt to do a tribute to the 70's. Most of it makes no sense, and it doesn't even capture the 1970's spirit well. I sure hope the band Red Kross has split up!!! The only reason I gave this a half star was for David Cassidy, a 70's icon (who is a mediocre actor, and even so, very under utilized), and a handful of brief ALMOST funny moments, such as when time traveler Cassidy sees himself on a Partridge Family lunchbox. Lucas Reiner, I hope you made this film to pay your way through law school or something, because apparently film talent occasionally skips a generation.
