Roseanne Barr: Blonde and B**chin' (2006) Reviews

Roseanne Barr: Blonde and B**chin' (2006)
Member Rating:
Roseanne Barr: Blonde and Bitchin' originally aired exclusively on HBO but is now available in this home-video release. In Barr's first comedy special in over 14 years, the sitcom mainstay, movie star, and acid-mouthed comedienne-at-large returns to her standup act -- the venue that originally launched her into superstardom in the early '80s -- before a jam-packed, enthusiastic audience. In the process, Barr hilariously touches on a myriad of controversial topics. From the Oval Office doings of George W. Bush to the hot-button issue of gay marriage, nothing is off-topic or too sensitive. ~ Nathan Southern, All Movie Guide

This comedy concert was not funny at all. Anyone thinking about renting this should reconsider.

This was horribly disappointing! Roseanne *used* to be a funny stand-up comedian and I loved the first 5 or 6 seasons of Roseanne (TV Show), but this show stunk. The whole thing started bad and just got worse. First you are treated to a bunch of boring "joke-wanna-bes", and that is followed by a stupid "supernatural" theme where some spirit is supposed to help her answer audience questions (the spirit isn't any funnier, by the way) and lastly we get treated to watching Roseanne dance around in a skimpy black leotard. On a scale of 5 stars.... well, what is less than 1/2 a star??

Roseanne the mad woman still has it. Didn't care for the profanity but that aside she touches on the everyday politics, kids, weather etc issues going on with her usual directness always with a big grain of truth. Made me laugh.
