I enjoy watching PBS shows like the American Experience and Frontline that tackle complicated biographies and history and present them in an informed and stylized way. This show was the exact opposite - it was poorly researched and the reenactments were low-rent. Just wiki Nostradamus and spend five minutes to get more information about his life than this video. This video even completely skipped over his 2nd family (his first wife and kids died in one of the Plagues) whose huge dowry allowed Nostradamus to focus his energy on his now famous Almanacs.
It has a history of Nostradamus' life and ideas presented in a way that paints a golden picture of the man. It is older so there is no mention of 9-11 or the end of the world in 2012. It basically has a bunch of people proclaiming his predictions to true to no fault. If something hasn't occured it is because "we have the power to change the future" if we use 'his' abilities to save ourselves. Great if you are a fan, but if you want to see what the controversy is all about, look elsewhere.
