The 4400: Season 03 (2006)
Member Rating:
Season Three of USA Network's sci-fi thriller The 4400 largely focuses on the surviving members of a group of 4400 people who, after being abducted from the earth over a sixty-year period, suddenly reappeared in a bolt of light in the year 2004--only to be systematically eliminated by the US Government when it was discovered that many of "The 4400" have developed paranormal powers which, if used improperly, could destroy all mankind. Since the previous season, the National Threat Assessment Command (NTAC) has been forced to back off on its campaign of "ethnic cleansing", but not before the radical Nova group, comprised of a band of "4400" rebels, carry out a master plan to take over the world. Forming a united front against the Nova group are the "good" 4400 members, as well as NTAC agents Tom Baldwin (Joel Gretsch) and Diana Skouris (Jacqueline McKenzie). Meanwhile, the infant Isabelle, whose blood contains the antidote for the "promicin inhibitor" that has been used to decimate The 4400, has suddenly grown into womanhood (she is played this season by Megalyn Echikunwoke) and remains a fugitive, not only from the Government but also from the Nova group. Many of the episodes this season detail the growing relationship between Isabelle and the kindly 4400 Shawn Farrell, who has the power (albeit limited) to revive the dead. As the season progresses, it is revealed to the viewer that the supposedly "martyred" Jordan Collier, an early leading light of the 4400, is still alive, calling the shots behind the revolt against humanity. Even so, Tom's son Kyle remains in prison for fulfilling his mission of assassinating Collier--a mission determined by the futuristic earthlings who'd originally abducted the 4400 as part of a long-range plan to save the world from total annihilation! ~ Hal Erickson, Rovi

I have now watch all three seasons. This was one of the best shoes I've seen. I will continue to watch on regular tv and hope if I miss any season 4 will be out soon. If you like a show with multi-charaters with multi-abilities you will love this shoe. Sci-fi maybe but who knows. Love it and worth my time.

Tuned in while surfing and now own seasons 1,2, and 3...The first season had the pilot and only 5 episodes on 2 DVD's, BUT it reeled me in after I was sure that it was NOT a movie about the jehovah's Witnesses LMBO...It's about people (thousands) who went missing over a 100 year time period and puff 4400 are returned all at once, and they are the same as when they left,(haven't aged.)Of course the Government has to get involved (Peter Cyote) as it turns out they have powers, they can heal, destroy, see the future and change the present... So Now it's the Government vs Nova... They Brought "The 4400" back when they deceided to can OC It's GOOD Fun,Enjoy... Widescreen,English 5.1 Surround sound

This is a great show - have watched solely on DVD thru Blockbuster rental - so great to watch a cliff-hanger and move right on to the next season the next day. Heroes borrows liberally from The 4000 tale - which is more complex and more gratifing to watch. ENJOY!

It took me awhile to like this show... but I really love it. It's way better than Heroes and actually, I feel Heroes borrowed a lot of similar story lines from this show. the acting is not the best, but the concept is very interesting. It's something fun to watch, while LOST in on a break. :)

Well this show rocks. Sorry I missed it when it first came out on television. If I didn't know any better I would think Hereos is loosely based on this show because the 4400 have special abilities, different but yet somehow the same as Hereos. I think the acting, writing, directing, and sets are the best, I highly recommend this show for those of you who love time travel and super human genre shows. A+++

I love this series. It is similar to "Heroes" in plot, but this is just as good. It is so creative, and yes, alittle far fetched at times, like when Elizabeth is all of a sudden an adult. you never know what is going to happen next. I'm hooked.

Admittedly, I am a huge fan of cheesy Sci-Fi. That being said, I am truly enjoying this series. The struggle of good and bad, and who to trust creates a great story line.

This series was very good and it had some questions not answered? It could have gone for one more season after the fourth.

One of the best series I have ever watched. This in Heroes before the channel 4 series.
