When a one-night stand that should have stayed that way has unexpected consequences, the reluctant odd couple attempts to transform their tentative relationship into a lasting love in this conception comedy. Twenty-four-year-old entertainment journalist Alison Scott (Katherine Heigl) is on the fast track to the big time, but an alcohol-fueled hookup with responsibility-shirking slacker Ben Stone (Seth Rogen) finds her professional priorities taking a back seat to having a baby. Now, as overgrown kid Ben attempts to assume the responsibilities of fatherhood, he makes the brave decision to stand by Alison. In order to make things work between the pair, however, there's going to have to be some compromise, and when Alison and Ben decide to take a shot at love, they quickly find that building a relationship from scratch isn't nearly as easy as making a baby. ~ Jason Buchanan, Rovi
I didn't really care for this movie. I had heard so much hype about it, I thought it would be better. The plot could be explained in about two sentences. I love Catherine Heigl, but this is by far my least favorite move of hers.
didn't like it - love Catherine Heigl but the movie was lame and too much language for my taste - ended up turning it off and not watching the end, was like, is it ever going to end!!!!
Better than I expected. I went in fully expecting to turn it off after 30 minutes but it was reasonably entertaining and Seth Rogan is a better actor than I expected. Some funny moments and one horrifying birth scene. Rudd is pretty funny and Heigl wasn't horrible.
I received "Knocked Up" in the mail and upon opening the envelope I discovered that the Disc was broken in half. I immediately returned the movie to my local store and reported the damage.
the movie had a staple in it and was unable to watch it it stopped halfway through the movie and that is when i found the staple while cleaning it luckly it did no apparent damage to my player i would like another one send out asap
What a horrible movie-such poor taste, it was not funny. I turned it off after the first 20 minutes- lasted that long hoping to find some redeeming qualities. We could not take anymore after 20 minutes. Can you imagine what the rest of the world would think of our young people after watching this? We should be able to make funny but decently treated movies.
