It's hard to understand how this could have stayed on the air for 4 seasons. It started out funny & clever, but into the 2nd season the writing became so sophomoric and inane we were mystified. I have to say that my wife and I are huge, huge fans of "The Larry Sanders Show" which may be the result of Garry growing and improving over time, and/or partnering with more sophisticated and talented writers than on the Garry Shandling Show.
