His daughter, Holly, enjoys the company of a variety of different boyfriends. Funny stuff from all concerned. Maggie Smith as a murderer and Patrick Swayze in a thong. What more is there to say!

Unexpectedly funny, a dark sort murder mystery movie. Maggie Smith plays a housekeeper with a terrible secret. The family of a vicar are the beneficiaries of this woman's unexpected influence. The movie was hilarious, but in a low key "chuckling" kind of way. This is a real unusual kind of movie that I'm sure most will like.

Just my "cup of tea." Should I put on the kettle? I loved this movie. The characters were quirky and entertaining. There were unexpected twists and turns, some really good dialoge and a good ending.. I would highly recommend it.

I loved this move - it's both a comedy and mystery rolled into one and I thoroughly enjoyed all the actors and the characters they played. The adult content is minimal (and appripriate to the story) so I would consider this movie to be OK for older children.

Maggie Smith plays a Nanny who is a Mary Poppins type with a vigilante dark side. She comes to work at the home of the town vicar Rev. Goodfellow played most wonderfully by Rowan Atkinson who's wife (Emilia Fox) is having an affair with a very sleezy golf instructor played by Patrick Swayze. They have a wimpy son and a nympho daughter, a dog next store that never stops barking and a nosy church lady to make their lives just a little more difficult - that is until "Grace" their new housekeeper gets there.

A very funny typical English humor movie. Maggie Smith and the rest of the cast were superb. It was an updated version of Arsenic and Old Lace. Recommend it highly.
