Two sets of crooks -- one of beginners, the other old hands at the game -- are lured by the promise of the big heist in a comedy drama from writer and director James Hausler. Wilson (Robert Forster) has just been released from prison after serving 25 years for armed robbery. While Wilson is edging into retirement age, he still has an old score to settle with Mackey (Robert Loggia), a career criminal who helped put Wilson behind bars. Wilson teams up with Marvin (Richard Roundtree), a fellow ex-con who also has a beef against Mackey, and together they set up a heist in order to hit their rival where it hurts. Meanwhile, Buckley (James Hausler) is a slacker who thinks a life of crime might be easier than holding down a real job. With the help of his pals, Buckley maps out a robbery that should earn him a sizable payday, though it doesn't take long for his inexperience to become an issue. Also featuring Lucie Arnaz and Christopher Clark, Wild Seven received its world premiere at the 2006 Los Angeles Film Festival. ~ Mark Deming, Rovi

This movie has a very eclectic mix of genres as well as style. It was obviously influenced by the old spaghetti westerns and the newer Tarintino type films. The movie is told in a series of stories and some are soon to be classics. This movie will stick with you long after your done watching... can't miss.

This was a very well crafted film. It is a revenge story that puts the veterans vs. the rookies in a bank heist. The director actually uses veteran actors vs. young fresh actors. The story jumps around a lot but ties up nicely near the end and what happens at the end you don't see coming, but you really should because there are clues through the whole movie that suggest it will probably end that way. I strongly recommend

this movie gives you a lot of the pieces necessary for the puzzle, but not all. Robert Forster and Robert Loggia bring down the house as rivals, with roundtree giving a solid performance. Like the atmosphere, cinematography and its brief length. Not sure whether it had a wide release, but I will pick up a copy when its on video. Recommended!

This is a great film. It really has revamped the western. There are some of my favorite actors in this picture such as Robert Forster and Robert Loggia and Richard Roundtree, the original Shaft. There is also some future stars that hold there own against these old actors. I like different edgy movies and this one has it all.

Having not normally enjoying these types of films I found myself really involved in this story I saw this film with my Dad and two boy and we all really enjoyed this movie. It is and old story of revenge pitting the new guys vs. the old guys. There is some violence that made me cringe a little but it was far from gratutious. Not a family film, but a mature family film.

Poor acting. Poor story line. Didn't care to see the last 20 minutes...don't waste your time.

this movie was way cool : ) I liked the plot and I from Arizona so I was really excited when I found out it was filmed there. Some of these characters in the film are real evil and disgusting, but they get what they deserve. I really enjoyed the movie, but I am not sure what happens at the end... does any know?

I dug this flick. If Tarintino did a western it would be Wild Seven. The plot is a little hard to follow because there is several stories, but it comes together quite nicely in the end.

People don't do westerns anymore because people don't ride around on horses. They didn't ride around on horses in this movie but it was a western. It was kind of long and I wasn't sure what was going on. There is a couple funny characters that save this movie Robert Loggia being one of them. You will love watching him in this one.
