This documentary was very well done. The real footage of Padre Pio in the ordinary parts of his day was inspiring. He life was on par with saintly legends of long ago. Often the stories of these legendary saints are thought to have been embellished. Padre Pio lived during the 20th century, revealing in modern times and through modern means, how ordinary on the outside does not reveal the extraordinary possible on the inside.

excellent film! highly recommend it! Padre Pio's commitment to a life of service in spite of the pain and suffering he endured is inspirational. He also spoke of healing (body) taking place only when infused with love (mind & spirit).

I give this movie 5 stars only because in the material presented, original videos of Padre Pio are shown. You can see him, and how he actually was. I think these videos are invaluable. It is a documentary that only last about1 to1- 1/2 hours. It is very short. I do not understand why in the description it says it last 3 hours. Perhaps is because they also include the extras. But the extras have very few new material not shown in the movie itself.
