I found this movie very heart warming. I fell in-love with the characters. There is a slight twist at the end that was unexpected that was bitter sweet.

Two friends, one with Muscular Dystrophy & a bad attitude the other a gentle sheltered young man with cerebral palsy take a flat together after leaving a personal care home and learn to live independently and with responsibility. Good performances. It's actually about 3 and a half stars for me.

Although I guessed most of the plot, it was nice to be able to step into life in the chair. I would recommend this flick.

A formulaic tearjerker; a 21st century My Left Foot without all the uncomfortable rage and other unpleasantness. Also missing: any reason for this film to be set in Ireland--except as an excuse to showcase post-Celtic Tiger Dublin. The lack of Irishness was disappointing, as was the predictable plot. But the acting is competent and the film has a good heart and a timeless message. And Romala Garai...hubba hubba. Worth your time.
