When the biggest names in the blues come out to play, they always know that there's a good time to be had at Antone's. In this release, the history of the legendary Austin, Texas club is explored through detailed interviews with those who kept the music coming throughout the years. Excellent documentary that explored the roots of blues music. An American culture that once expressed their joys, fears, sorrows through music, which may serve as the basis for todays music.

Great stuff! The history of the famous Austin blues club Antone's. Performances and/or interviews by Clifford Antone, Angela Strehli, Kim Wilson, Lou Ann Barton, Stevie "before he was Stevie Ray" Vaughan, Jimmie Vaughan, Luther Tucker, Eddie Taylor, Willie Big Eyes Smith, Sunnyland Slim, Albert King, Albert Collins, Sue Foley, Buddy Guy, BB King, Hubert Sumlin, Derek O'Brien, Doyle Bramhall, Charlie Sexton, Calvin Fuzz Jones, Junior Wells - a veritable who's who of Chicago and Texas blues musicians. There were so many, I'm sure I'm forgetting someone, but you get the idea. If you love blues, highly recommended.
