Hong Kong action star Michelle Yeoh serves as both producer and leading lady for this bit of slam-bang adventure. By day, Lulu Wong (Yeoh) is a mild-mannered environmental activist, but when the going gets tough, she transforms herself into Silver Hawk, a battle-ready heroine who finds herself chasing after Alexander Wolfe (Luke Goss), a suave British rogue agent. Wolfe has abducted a brilliant Chinese scientist (Chen Daming) who has invented a new artificial intelligence technology that could have dramatic worldwide impact; Silver Hawk sets out to find Wolfe and his captive before he forces him to reveal his secrets, but matters become more complicated when the daughter of a powerful industrial tycoon also goes missing. ~ Mark Deming, Rovi

This is a not too serious action movie very much in the vein of the 60s Batman show, albeit with somewhat more serious and a lot more martial arts fights. Michelle Yeoh plays the superhero (who by day is actually a model, not what the blurb says), who gets reunited with a childhood friend (they were both orphans together) who is now a policemen. At first he tries to catch her, but then they both get caught up in trying to stop a villains plots for world domination. Very much cartoony violence/fighting. I would say its suitable for kids, as no one really gets hurt. Very funny in spots, too. Some bits are a bit goofy, mostly the flashbacks to their days as orphans together, but that does set up their relationship. I really had a lot of fun watching it.

I really enjoyed this one lots of action, but not a blood and guts movie. The hero even trys to save the bad guy instead of letting him get blown up. It was also quite funny. I would say it would be a good one for the whole family.

first off i love both super-heroes and martial art movies so this was great for me. i love to read the silverhawk comic sometime. if it's in english that is. the action was great i love the fighting sense when silverhawk fight the hechmen. rich man was funny. he is weak at first but while fighting aside silverhawk their a great team. and when rich man finally got his special move just right it was like he got super-powers and kit was funny even if he can't fight. but i love rich man and kit together. but the custom on some of the characters was kind of dumb either leather or silver and the buildings and room were like their from the future or china is way head of us in the united states. but a great movie for any super-hero fan and martial arts fans too.

This movie sucked! And I'm a big fan of Michelle Yeoh. The action sequences were horrible! Don't waste your time with this one.

Maybe fine for pre-teens, but pretty amateurish by Hollywood standards. The destruction of the villain's lair seems to be a cheap attempt to compete with Bond movie sets and effects. I can't imagine anyone wanting to watch it a second time.

Not very good martial arts action movie. I was very disappointed in the acting and the fights weren't all that good either. Very much a B movie...

This is a really slick movie with great production value. It's remarkable how everything in this movie is super clean and super shiny. I can't tell what's more fascinating - that the main bad guy has mechanical arms or that the police chief drives around in a Maserati. Great soundtrack. Definitely over the top. Definitely recommended.

Silver Hawk starts out with alot of potential for a solid superhero vigilante flick, but quickly retreats to the comfortable silly confines of the 90's superhero flicks that came before it. This movie is really no different than the absolutely awful Batman & Robin movie. This is just a foreign version of Batgirl. There are a couple of cool fight scenes to enjoy. But the villains are rediculous. Over all, it's too long, too silly, too campy, and it's too talky to ever be considered good.
